A beautiful day to bike in the Marine on St. Croix area and this year’s ALS Bike Trek MN was a success. Held on May 17, with over 300 bicyclists, donors, sponsors, organizers all contributed to the goals of this year’s Trek raising nearly $121,000 for research to cure ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease.
A family-friendly event the Bears to Pedal recreational bike ride is a fun day being planned with great food and Dixieland music as you roll across the finish line on your selected route. To be held on Sunday, June 22, in White Bear Lake, Minnesota, this fully supported ride offers three routes: a 4-mile Kiddy Ride, a 30-mile Intermediate tour and a 46-mile Champions Loop.
