Help a child receive a bike. Free Bikes 4 Kidz (FB4K) is in the count down phase to their Bike Giveaway Weekend, but they still need your help to clean and wrench the remaining bicycles that were donated in October.

The Free Bikes 4 Kidz Bike Giveaway Weekend culminates on December 3 – 4, 2016. This program was started in 2008, with 300 bikes donated, giving kids of low-income families a chance to have a bike. This year over 5,000 bikes have been collected and stored in the Mall of America’s warehouse. Help them clean and fix the bikes that still need tender-loving care. Can you help? Please volunteer today!

If you like riding around Minnesota’s Driftless Area or Bluff Country, consider visiting the nine Root River Trail Towns in the Valley. Their Annual Bluff & Valley Tour is set for July 7,8 & 9, 2017 and registrations will be open shortly.

The 2016 Free Bikes 4 Kidz Wrench Slinger Shootout was held at the Mall of America this last Sunday afternoon event was a tremendous success, with all teams winners. The six teams there had fun putting together the 150 new kids’ bikes -they included were: QBP (Quality Bicycle Products), Penn Cycle, Freewheel Bike, Maple Grove Cycling, Tonka Cycle & Ski, and OneTen Cycles.
