Bike Pic Oct 13, wise Wednesday and wheels of the past

This Wise Wednesday a cyclist riding in Southeast Minnesota this summer discovered a set of wheels from agriculture’s past. This photo was taken in Mabel, MN where the steam engine stands along Hwy 44, to promote the annual Hesper-Mabel Steam Engine Days, held each September.

Bike Pic Nov 16, Still Cycling Weather on the Root River Trail

A two hour drive from the Twin Cities, another perfect day to bike the roads and trails around the Root River Valley in Southeast Minnesota. If you like riding around Minnesota’s Driftless Area or Bluff Country, consider visiting the nine Root River Trail Towns in the Valley. Their Annual Bluff & Valley Tour is set for July 7,8 & 9, 2017 and registrations will be open shortly.
