Who says you can’t go mountain bike riding, on the trail with your road bike? If you like riding a bone shaker down a cobble stone lanes or some of the city streets badly in need of repair, then have fun. Not recommended for reasons of agility or comfort we recently captured this Pic of a guy out in front of several traditional mountain bikers riding in Lebanon Park, near Lakeville, MN.

Bike Pic Sept 26, Wild Ride Mountain Bike Festival this Saturday

Located in Lebanon Hills Regional Park, this Saturday, the Wild Ride Mountain Bike Festival celebrates the great sport of mountain biking. The event is free and will provide a safe, fun, festive atmosphere where both beginners and experienced riders can get a chance to ride some of the best mountain bike trails in the state.

This Wild Ride Mountain Bike Festival, near Lakeville, MN, on October 1st. – Activities includes: demo bikes to try out, build-your-skills sessions, gear talks, fix-it clinics, group rides, timed competitive events, kids’ activities, plus great food and beer. This Dakota County Park, near Lakeville, MN is in the south suburbs of the Twin Cities and offers terrain and trails for all skill levels of riders to enjoy.

The West Trailhead at Lebanon accesses miles of rolling, wooded, single-track trails that offer a challenge to even the hardiest mountain biker. The trailhead is located in the western-most section of Lebanon Hills Regional Park.
