This Saturday, Oct 1st, the Wild Ride Mountain Bike Festival celebrates the great sport of mountain biking by providing a safe, fun, festive atmosphere where experienced and beginning riders get a chance to ride some of the best mountain bike trails in the state, with free admission.

Located in Lebanon Hills Regional Park, this Saturday, the Wild Ride Mountain Bike Festival celebrates the great sport of mountain biking. The event is free and will provide a safe, fun, festive atmosphere where both beginners and experienced riders can get a chance to ride some of the best mountain bike trails in the state.

This Wild Ride Mountain Bike Festival, near Lakeville, MN, on October 1st. – Activities includes: demo bikes to try out, build-your-skills sessions, gear talks, fix-it clinics, group rides,  timed competitive events, kids’ activities, plus great food and beer.  The event is from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. near Lakeville, MN. For more information, call 651-554-6532. Bike Pic March 10, last of MN’s fat bike and snow rallies

Spring bike season is in the air, but Minnesota still has a couple fat bike fun rallies up its sleeve. This weekend on Saturday, head for Grand Rapids. Then Sunday, on to Buck Hill, in the Twin Cities south suburbs for the King of the Hill Fat Bike Duel, sponsored by Buck Hill and Penn Cycle. Then the grand finale is next weekend up in Iron Range for the for the Giants Ridge Fat Bike Enduro.
