Tour de Cure Beats the Rain Raising More Awareness in the Twin Cities

Congratulations Twin Cities Tour de Cure!

1a-DSCF3148With the threat of monsoon rains in the forecast, for mid afternoon last Saturday, over 2,000 riders and volunteers for the Twin City Tour de Cure came out to make this annual occasion more than just another bicycling event. Talking with many of the Red Riders (those in the red shirts, riding with diabetes) “it’s a life-changing event,” and fun was had by all.

1a-DSCF2978As the sun rose, setting the stage for the day’s activities, excitement was in the air as riders from as far away as California, Colorado, Florida and Texas coupled with teams here in Minnesota for a day of fun, while joining forces in the fight to Stop Diabetes.

So proud of my niece and her husband who rode in this. Have to beat this problem so insulin and meds can be retired.

Balance in the 5 pillars of health and wellness is a good starting point for this situation. Become informed about other option, such as natural energy from nature.
