The 9th Annual Breast Cancer Ride, taking place Saturday, August 13, 2016, is a 1-day bicycle ride, with multiple route options, that raises money and awareness for local breast cancer service organizations. The Ride starts/stops at the Eagan Community Center at 1501 Central Parkway, Eagan, MN 55121. The Ride is fully supported and designed to allow Riders of all degrees of experience to participate. Multiple route options are available to choose from (12, 23, 35, 42 and 65*). Keep in mind, this is a ride, not a race. And we provide route support in case you can’t finish the mileage or you have bike issues.
Each Adult Rider (18+) pays a registration fee and agrees to raise a minimum of $350 in donations. Sound like a lot? That’s just 10 friends at $35 each or 35 friends at just $10 each; easy peasy and for a good cause! Minor Riders, under the age of 18 and cycling on their own bicycle, pay a registration fee but are not required to fundraise. Keep in mind, minor Riders must have an adult Rider participate with them. The Adult Rider is required to pay the registration fee and meet the fundraising minimum. Children who will be in a burly/tagalong bike (connected to an adults bike) do not need to register or fundraise, however they will not receive any swag/shirt.
