About Bike Around Minnesota in 2024
BAM 2024 toured Minnesota’s scenic Iron Range on August 15-18, 2024. The ride started and finished in Hoyt Lakes, with overnights in Chisholm, Grand Rapids, and Hibbing before returning to Hoyt Lakes.
Mileage and terrain: Distances are 55-70 miles per day on paved roads and trails, including the undulating Mesabi Trail. This trail winds through the countryside with plenty of ups and downs; It is not a rail trail. The terrain generally gently rolls, with some climbs and flatter sections. The tour is intended for cyclists of intermediate ability and above.
