
Come along as Bike Around Minnesota (BAM) traverses the bucolic countryside on August 21 -24. This year BAM is headed to central Minnesota, with overnights in Pequot Lakes, Pine River, and Emily. Covering all parts of the Brainerd Lakes. Plus the historic riverboat town of Aitkin. This area is a premier vacation destination and outdoor paradise, boasting more than 500 lakes and rivers and beautiful parks and forests.

Mileage and terrain: Distances are 55-70 miles per day on paved roads and trails, including the undulating Mesabi Trail. This trail winds through the countryside with plenty of ups and downs; It is not a rail trail. The terrain generally gently rolls, with some climbs and flatter sections. The tour is intended for cyclists of intermediate ability and above.
