The 2015 MN Bike Guide is looking for updates

It is that time of year and a call is out to all businesses, event coordinators and those interested in promoting biking opportunities here in the upper Midwest. As we begin designing the 2015 Edition of this popular pocket-size guide, please send in any bike events, bicycle related stories and suggestions for the next issue of this publication.

Any bike related events and your ideas will be considered. To guarantee a spot in the 2015 Bike/Hike Guide, events must be submitted on the (free) HaveFunBiking.com  event submission form before January 15th. Questions regarding the event listings contact  [email protected] for more information. If you are not an event planner and know of a ride you would like to see listed, please pass this information on.

Now in our sixth year of producing the Bike Guide, 50,000 copies will again be printed in February and distributed throughout the spring. With all printed copies of the Guide out and in use by the end of May, we have added a digital, flip-page, version of the guide to double our circulation. This will continue to make it easy for those using hand-held devices, to gain the info we publish at their fingertips. For information on advertising please contact: [email protected].

Thanks and Happy Holidays!

Trip #6. August 1, 2015. Midnight-to-Dawn Metro Bike Tour #37. Thirty-seven years and we’re still “riding”! Join us for our annual “Midsummer’s Night Dream-of-a-Ride” – just the thing for insomniacs and bicycling lovers! We’ll enjoy some new routing this year on either a full tour of 42 miles, as well as a “short-circuit” route of 28 miles. Along the way you’ll be able to visit at some of our favorite late night stops (including Mel-O-Glaze Bakery and the Grand Ol’ Creamery!), or charge right through the night to the sunrise finish. Make sure you save your appetite for our gourmet breakfast cooked hot-on-the spot! Please note: There are no substitutions or refunds available for this ride.
This ride is limited to the first 150 registrants, and we will stop accepting registrations for this ride on June 26, so register promptly. We will mail you additional information after we receive your registration (expect it around July 1). Cost: $20.00 (covers preparation expenses and your gourmet breakfast).

(You can abbreviate this as necessary). Thank you!
