The 18th Annual Gitchi-Gami Trail Association North Shore Bike Ride will take place on Saturday, August 18, 2018, on the spectacular Gitchi-Gami State Trail and connecting roads.

Once again this year we will offer four ride options– an 8-mile family ride, and 28-mile, 37-mile and 55-mile recreational rides. Each ride begins and ends in beautiful Gooseberry Falls State Park, on scenic Highway 61. This year we celebrate new trail fully connecting the communities of Beaver Bay and Silver Bay, which means for the first time, our 28 and 37 mile options will take place completely on trail. Our 55 mile option will once again require the use of connecting roadways. Your registration for this supported ride includes many perks: a day use MN State Parks vehichle permit, rest stations, snacks and refreshments will be provided. Mechanical, emergency and sag support will also be available. Adult riders will receive t-shirts, and younger riders will receive water bottles. All riders must sign waivers and wear helmets.
