The City of La Crescent and the region are proud to host year two for an unforgettable experience in Houston County, in Southeast Minnesota!
This premier gravel event welcomes Amateur and Elite racers, cyclists, and enthusiasts of all skill levels. Routes leaving La Crescent and traversing through the City of Houston provide an excellent opportunity for challenging yet scenic courses for national-caliber gravel racing. All four course lengths have been designed to showcase southeast Minnesota’s champagne gravel, with challenging climbs, breathtaking vistas, and hidden valleys. The course has a few twists, including a segment through an apple orchard and a gravel quarry.
Race Day Details
Date: Saturday, September 12th
Distances: Choose between 60 and 110 miles, tailored for different age groups and skill levels.

Designed to highlight the region’s natural beauty, the courses feature gravel paths with minimal paved segments, leading riders along blufftops and through coulees. Prepare for sweeping views of apple orchards, agricultural landscapes, and river valleys that some say rival the vistas of Southern Europe. With countless photo opportunities, this is more than just a race—it’s an adventure.
