The Minnesota High School Cycling League Race, August 24 -25, 2019 drew hundreds of high school and middle school racers from across the state. This was an action-packed state-wide opening race weekend held in Austin, MN. The eighth season of the HS League the season started off at Schindler's Way Trail, in Todd Park. The first race, of the series, had 798 racers from across Minnesota and Western WI.
The MN High School Cycling League returns to Austin, MN this Saturday and Sunday (August 24-25) for an action-packed weekend of mountain bike racing. This will kick off the 2019 racing season for almost 2,000 middle school and high school students throughout Minnesota and Western Wisconsin.

Get up close and personal on the 18th Annual Gitchi-Gami Trail Association North Shore Bike Ride, Saturday, August 18. Enjoy shoreline views of Lake Superior as you pedal the Gitchi-Gami Trail. Occasionally passing through a state park or riding over a serenading waterfall as it cascades into the lake on a supported 8, 28, 34 or 55 mile ride lengths route option.
In its 32nd year, the villages of Van Buren County will be hosting their annual bike ride visiting several Civil War historical villages along the way. Ride participants can enjoy a 42 or 66-mile route on Saturday and a 42-mile’r on Sunday, along with a fun poker-run on the bike tour both days.
Do you have a bike or two taking up space and collecting dust? If so, consider donating them to Free Bikes for Kids (FB4K) to help them put smiles on kids faces. No bikes, no problem...if your basement, garage or storage space has already been cleaned out they still need help. FB4K's also needs volunteers to help clean or do light repair work to get them ready for kids to ride.
