For the Grand Opening of Nice Ride rental bikes in Bemidji, 20 riders are invites to peddle their way up the Mississippi River Trail, then the Paul Bunyan State Trail to Bemidji for the festivities.
We are kicking off “Nice Ride in Bemidji” with a touring ride to Bemidji, June 19th through the 22nd.
The ride will commence in Big Lake, MN and follow the MRT (Mississippi River Trail) to Bemidji with overnight stops in St. Cloud, Brainerd, Nevis (near Walker) arriving in Bemidji on Sunday to 22nd to the fanfare of our grand opening. You must sign up by May 15th to participate!
The ride will be fully supported and will include lodging for 3 nights, meals from locally restaurants, healthy snacks and large doses of camaraderie among the riders. You will have the opportunity to ride one of Nice Ride’s “Greater Minnesota” bikes, a Vanmoof 3-speeds that will propel you along 180 or so miles on some of the most beautiful country in Minnesota, finishing at the end of the 112-mile paved Paul Bunyan Trail.
The cost to you for this ride will be $200 which will cover a bike, all food, return transportation to the Twin Cities and a whole lot of fun.
Participants can start the ride by driving to Big Lake or by taking the Northstar Line from Target Field Station departing at 6:13 a.m. on the 19th. On the return, Nive Ride will provide transportation from Bemidji to Big Lake and to Downtown Minneapolis on Sunday.
Accommodations will only allow 20 riders for this trip so sign up fast and join us for an historical moment in Minnesota cycling.
