The Mississippi River Trail\, designated as Minnesota’s first state bikeway \, provides opportunities tailored for bicyclists of all types and ages to follow America’s great river. When traveling the Mississippi River at t he pace and intimacy of a bicycle\, you’ll see what many tourists never will. You will be immersed in the river’s way of life and experience a r oute filled with history\, enchantment\, and remarkable adventure!\n\nPre- registration is required and space is limited to 140 riders. The cost is $ 30 per person or $25 for members of the Bicycle Alliance of Minnesota. (Jo in today!) The registration fee includes your train ticket\, a catered pic nic lunch in Elk River\, maps and route assistance and a treat at the end of the ride.
