SUMMARY:Pedal Jam - Bike the Brooklyns
DESCRIPTION:The Pedal Jam is a family focused bike riding adventure traveli
 ng 6 miles throughout the Brooklyns showcasing business\, parks\, and resi
 dential areas of the two cities. Happening on August 12\, 2023.\n\nThe Mi
 nneapolis Northwest Tourism\, the tourism marketing affiliate of Brooklyn 
 Park and Brooklyn Center\, is the host sponsor. Many thanks go out to the 
 Brooklyn Park Library\, Brooklyn Park and Brooklyn Center Staff\, the Poli
 ce\, and Fire Departments.\nAbout Pedal Jam\n12 p.m. Cyclists invited to r
 egister on-site\, if they haven’t pre-registered\, and collect their rid
 er number. Families can visit the Health Fair and food trucks while gettin
 g their bike tuned up for free.\n\n2 p.m. Event start time. Riders are enc
 ouraged to make stops along the way for activities\, music\, giveaways and
  the grand prize of a new e-bike!\n\n4 p.m. Prize announcements – must b
 e present to win.\n\nStart Location: Centennial Park 6301 Shingle Creek Pk
 wy\, Brooklyn Center\n\nEnd location: Brooklyn Park Community Center\, 560
 0 85th Ave N\, Brooklyn Park\n\nFree parking is available at the ride star
 t and finish.\n\nArrive early and visit the food trucks at the Brooklyn Ce
 nter Health Fair before the ride starts. Three stops along the bike route 
 provide activities\, sweets\, and fun challenges. The end of the race is a
  celebration with chalk art\, popsicles\, music\, giveaways\, and the gran
 d prize of a new e-bike!\n\nAfter the ride\, visit Igbofest\, down the str
 eet\, at North Hennepin Community College to enjoy ethnic food\, music\, a
 nd performances until 7 p.m.\n\nRegistration - Adults $10\,  and 18 and u
 nder $5 (Youth under 12 must ride with an adult)
