The Pedal Jam is a family focused bike riding adventure traveling 6 miles throughout the Brooklyns showcasing business, parks, and residential areas of the two cities. Happening on August 12, 2023.

The Minneapolis Northwest Tourism, the tourism marketing affiliate of Brooklyn Park and Brooklyn Center, is the host sponsor. Many thanks go out to the Brooklyn Park Library, Brooklyn Park and Brooklyn Center Staff, the Police, and Fire Departments.

About Pedal Jam

12 p.m. Cyclists invited to register on-site, if they haven’t pre-registered, and collect their rider number. Families can visit the Health Fair and food trucks while getting their bike tuned up for free.

2 p.m. Event start time. Riders are encouraged to make stops along the way for activities, music, giveaways and the grand prize of a new e-bike!

4 p.m. Prize announcements – must be present to win.

Start Location: Centennial Park 6301 Shingle Creek Pkwy, Brooklyn Center

End location: Brooklyn Park Community Center, 5600 85th Ave N, Brooklyn Park

Free parking is available at the ride start and finish.

Arrive early and visit the food trucks at the Brooklyn Center Health Fair before the ride starts. Three stops along the bike route provide activities, sweets, and fun challenges. The end of the race is a celebration with chalk art, popsicles, music, giveaways, and the grand prize of a new e-bike!

After the ride, visit Igbofest, down the street, at North Hennepin Community College to enjoy ethnic food, music, and performances until 7 p.m.

Registration – Adults $10,  and 18 and under $5 (Youth under 12 must ride with an adult)
