DESCRIPTION:The Driftless 100 Gravel Challenge\, formerly the Volga City Gr
 avel Race\, is on Saturday\, April 30\, 2022\, starting at Founders Park i
 n downtown Elkader\, Iowa.\n\nThe event is a fundraiser for the local EMS 
 crews in Clayton County and all proceeds go towards the improvement of equ
 ipment and supplies that small-town emergency services are always needing.
 \nAbout the Gravel Challenge\n​The Race itself has three distances\, 100
 \, 50\, and 25 miles route. With 90-95% of each course is on gravel with a
  few miles of level B\, blacktop\, and a bike trail.  There are hills in 
 this area of Iowa. Some rollers\, but mainly steep semi-short climbs that 
 will get the legs going no matter what level of rider you are. The estimat
 ed average for climbing is 100 feet per mile. If you are looking for an ad
