This is a 46-mile bicycle ride with all proceeds benefiting The National Fragile X Foundation, Heartland Chapter – Iowa and South Dakota
NEW IN 2020! Due to the trail closure on the Neal Smith trail under I-35/80, we will begin the ride in Des Moines. Mass start (so no one gets lost!) at 9:30 am.
Registration and packet pickup is 8:30 am-9:15 am at GoodSons Food & Spirits, 2815 Beaver Ave, Des Moines. Registration and packet pickup will also be available at Kyle’s Bikes by Mickey’s Irish Pub in Waukee from 11 am-noon. (This is for those that want fewer miles.) Walk-ups are welcome. This ride is primarily on trails with some limited road riding. Goodson’s in Beaverdale will be open in the morning for those that want to stop in. Then continue to ride to Mickey’s Irish Pub, 50 SE Laurel in Waukee for lunch. We encourage you to stop at 515 Brewing Co at 7700 University Ave in Clive and Confluence Brewing Company, 1235 Thomas Beck Rd before ending back at GoodSons Food & Spirit, 2815 Beaver Ave, Des Moines. The ride will end between 4 pm – 5 pm. Raffle tickets will also be available. The top fundraiser will receive a prize!
