DESCRIPTION:Join us at the Scandia City Hall and Community Center and ride 
 one of the ALS Minnesota bike routes on Saturday\, August 26\, 2023.\nHave
  fun on this ALS Minnesota bike ride.\nThis event presents two routes thro
 ugh rural Washington County\, Minnesota. The 50-mile long route starts at 
 8:30 am\, and the 28-mile medium route starts at 9:30 am. A Hiawatha Bike 
 Club ride leader for added safety will lead both routes. You will be asked
  to sign a waiver before the ride starts.\n\nIn addition to providing an e
 njoyable bike ride\, this event has a charitable purpose--to build awarene
 ss about ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis)\, also known as Lou Gehrig's 
 Disease. The charitable purpose of this ride is also to request a donation
  to the ALS Therapy Development Institute (ALSTDI)\, a research organizati
 on devoted to finding treatments and\, ultimately\, a cure for ALS. ALSTDI
  is a 501(c)3 non-profit headquartered in Watertown\, MA.\n\nTo donate\, g
 o to the Fundraising Page on the ALSTDI website\, https://www.als.net/\, a
 nd click the 'Donate' link at the top. Enter your donation amount\, contac
 t\, and payment information. Then at the bottom of the page\, enter 'ALS M
 N Bike Ride' in response to the question\, "Why are you giving to ALS rese
