Fun outdoor activities for that next adventure are always available in Maple Grove. The many parks and lakeside green spaces are perfect for exploring. Find trails for hiking and biking, plus ample opportunities to get on the water for boating and paddling fun. If you’re interested in mountain biking, Elm Creek Park Reserve is easy to connect to by trail, no matter your lodging choice.

In the Fall, enjoy a colorful array of foliage in the city parks and plenty of bird-watching opportunities. Also, check out the dozens of arts and theater options. 

 

For a winter experience here, enjoy fat biking, and cross-country skiing on the local trails. And, the hottest winter attraction here is the ice skating loop at Central Park.

These trails will connect you to many popular Twin City Metro trail routes. For the mountain biker, no matter your level of expertise, many fun trails are offered.

Winter is a wonderful season to experience Maple Grove! Our unique outdoor skating loop at Central Park is a destination in itself. Just a short drive away at Elm Creek Park, you will find cross-country skiing, snowboarding, and an insanely fun tubing hill!

The first of its kind in Minnesota, the loop is a refrigerated 800 feet trail meandering through the park.
