Round and round they go, competing for prizes while having fun

Each year the Loppet Weekend kicks off with ice bike racing and bikers circle a short track on ice that offers winter commuters, cyclists pining for summer and anyone with a penchant for thrills to have some fun on a cold winter day. Four heats, 8 to 15 riders in each, includes a beginner, intermediate, advanced and women’s category, were contestants circle a circuitous track in a criterium format, for fun and prizes.
