Trek Dealers Host Annual Breast Cancer Ride

Don’t put your bike away for the winter just yet!

trek-2 On both Saturday and Sunday, October 11th and 12th, Trek Bicycle retailers around the United States will be hosting the 9th annual Trek Breast Cancer Awareness ride. Featured are both a 10- and a 25-mile family-friendly group ride were all the proceeds from each event location goes directly to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation. With one in every eight women in the US getting breast cancer in her lifetime, most people have a close friend or family member affected by the disease.

QUESTIONS

Q: Is the ride for women only?
A: No. The Ride is for anyone who wants to raise awareness for Breast Cancer, the Ride is a casual, fun ride and we welcome everyone to participate.
Q: Can I register the day-of the event?
A: Yes. You may register up until the day of the ride through Eventbrite.com. Participating retailers will also have Day-Of Registration forms available.
Q: Do I have to raise additional money to participate in this ride?
A: We do not require you to raise additional funds for the ride, the ride registration is $30 which goes directly to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation, additional funds raised would be awesome!

THE CAUSE

Raise public awareness and fund breast cancer research in an effort to achieve prevention and a cure for breast cancer in our lifetime. All proceeds are donated directly to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation – www.bcrfcure.org
